The guitar has a 16 ¼ inch body with rounded cutaway. Lutz spruce domed top, old Cedar of Lebanon back and sides that Daniel stored for over 35 years. Daniel bought the Cedar of Lebanon together with his father arond 1982. In 1988 Daniel constructed a small classical guitar out of this wood, the smallest size that nineteenth centyry guitar maker Antonio de Torres used. Pictures of this guitar are included below. Some boards were left of this wood and about 35 years after purchasing it, Daniel constructed this Custodian guitar. The Cedar of Lebanon is similar in density and color to Spanish cypress.
